Sacred Roots: Mexican Ancestral Healing

Rooted in the plant wisdom of the curanderas and herbalists I grew up around in Mexico, and enriched by my Ayurvedic path, these offerings bridge two sacred systems of healing.
As a child in Mexico City, I watched neighbors, street healers, and local herbalists use plants, prayers, and ritual to bring the body and spirit back into balance. Limpias were a way of life. There was medicine in the markets, in the smoke, in the hands of women who never called themselves anything other than devoted. Later, Ayurveda gave me a language and structure to deepen that sacred connection. Sacred Roots is a space where these traditions meet — a return to what has always lived in the earth, in the herbs, and in the hearts of those who remember.
